Then… / Mind-Catching Design /
I created MindCatching.com while attending university in California majoring in Multimedia design/development. The name Mind-Catching came to mind when I heard people talk a lot about how eye-catching a design was without discussing the intention and purpose of the design. Attracting attention [with an eye-catching design] is important but not sufficient. Thus, I created the term “mind-catching” and has used it since then as my motto for my graphic and web design works.
With a background in marketing + multimedia, I always try to keep my works clear and client-centered, which help my clients eliminate potential clutter and confusion in their [visual] communication, thus be able to sell their ideas, products and services more effectively.

- Starting mid-2014, I stopped taking on new freelance works, and this site has been sitting idly since then.
- In 2018, I started thinking about reviving mindcatching.com and wanted to re-position it as a place to post mind-catching ideas, mind-catching designs and visuals that we see in our everyday life.
