As your web designer/developer, I always approach your web design project from a holistic [web + design] and client-centered perspective. My focus is on both the web elements [coding/programming, web usability, accessibility, searchability and sellability] and the design elements [layout/composition, space, typography, color scheme and imagery] of your website. Here are some of the sites I launched for clients in San Jose, in the US and outside the US. Contact me for a quote.
La Pearl Spa is a full service day spa in Mississauga, Ontario, Canada. I designed and developed this new site using the color scheme and materials from the client's brochure to ensure a consistent look and feel between the website and other sales literature.
Since lapearlspa.ca is a new/young domain name, I also helped boost its online presence by submitting the site url to various online directories, including setting up its profile in Google Places, Yahoo! and Bing Business Centers, and helped the client get familiar with Google Adwords and set up the first Adwords campaign. Copy Station is a full service photocopying and printing company with locations in Oakland, Walnut Creek and Pleasanton. Besides photocopying and printing, the company also offers other related services including binding, scanning, mail merging, cd/dvd duplication and more. I re-designed and launched the site in 2011 and also worked with the company to set up its Google Places profiles.
A few months after the launch, Copy Station website ranks top with Google for several important keywords tied with its locations and services. Screenshots [2] | Live site
PolarOnyx is the leading supplier of fiber laser products based in San Jose, CA. I re-designed and re-developed the website to bring it up-to-date with a new color scheme and a rotating banner featuring PolarOnyx's key product applications and to improve its search engine optimization.
After several weeks of launching, polaronyx.com ranks top with several important keywords including fiber laser company, fiber laser supplier, fiber laser solutions, femtosecond fiber laser, ultrafast fiber laser... Screenshot [1] | Live site
Elizabeth King is a wedding, portrait photographer in Maryland, DC and Virginia. Elizabeth came to me through the social networking site LinkedIn. I re-designed and re-developed the site with an updated look and color scheme and also customized Elizabeth's blog with Blogger to make it look consistent with the website.
The site has six XML-based Flash photo albums featured with automatic slideshow and loading images externally to reduce the overall loading time. Screenshots [2] | Live site | Blog
3M is a Fortune 500 company; the company is specialized in manufacturing innovative products from the very popular Scotch® tape and Post-it® Notes to complex interconnect components and touch or visual systems and much much more. I had a chance to work with the 3M eBusiness Team on managing and designing multiple 3M sites while in Austin, Texas.
Different from other projects, at 3M, I used IBM Websphere Portal and FatWire Content Server to manage and develop 3M websites. Screenshots [8]
CORE Consulting is an Ontario-based consulting firm sepcializing in leadership development, talent management, career planning and more. I re-designed CORE logo and re-launched the firm's website using a custom WordPress theme.
The overall goal was to create a clean, yet elegant and easy to navigate website where the firm's core competencies were prominent. Screenshot [1] | Live site
Tam Harbert is an award winning journalist/freelance writer based in D.C. I re-designed and re-developed the site using a customized WordPress theme allowing the client to maintain and update her blog and individual web pages herself.
The theme was customized to have highlighted navigation system, different sidebars between the main pages and the blog posts and very low maintenance. Screenshot [1] | Live site
This has been the second time I re-designed and re-developed the Radford public website. The company, based in San Jose, CA, is the leading provider of compensation surveys and consulting services for the technology and life sciences industries.
This time the company launched its website together with the new branding featuring a cleaner look with the dominant use of white spaces. The website also incorporated some additional survices that were offered but not featured in the previous version. Screenshots [2] | Live site
